Seascapes

Spending my childhood summers on an island in the Stockholm archipelago has influenced my abstract seascapes. The minimalism in my seascapes is often based on memories of the barren, granite rocks that create the sparse outer archipelago islands. On the island, all we saw was a horizon line in the distance and the only changes were the light, wind and fog. It’s the feeling of those memories I want to convey in my seascape paintings.
